Proverbs 4:23
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
— Proverbs 4:23
✦ Golden Insight
“The truth at the heart of this verse
A man’s life can rise no higher than the heart he keeps before God.
✦
✦ Frame of Silver
“The context and setting that shapes its meaning”
The heart is the quiet workshop of every word, every step, every desire.
What is guarded there shapes what grows everywhere else.
If the heart is neglected, the life will decay in ways the eyes cannot trace.
If the heart is kept, the life will flourish in ways the world cannot explain.
The hidden place becomes the measure of the visible path.
✦
✦ Fruit of Christ
“How this truth bears fruit in a life following Christ”
Christ alone gives the heart its light, its cleansing, and its keeping — and the life rises only as it rises toward Him.
✦
“And the truth held firm.”
— Ophel
